This is an onsite role in Columbia, SC Columbia office. A hybrid work schedule (some work remotely) is possible after candidate is fully trained. Candidates must be local or within a commutable distance and okay with working onsite in the Columbia SC office.
No C2C or 1099 candidates, Must have US Authorized work status and be able to work on a W2 direct hire contract (US Citizen, Green Card). Contract to hire role!
Description
What You Will Do Day to Day:
Participate in the daily Scrum stand-up, where they provide updates on progress and help remove any blockers related to requirements or user stories.
Work closely with the Product Owner to refine the product backlog, write and update user stories, and ensure acceptance criteria are clear and testable.
Collaborate with developers and testers to clarify requirements for the secure, web-based Java application, often reviewing API documentation, data models, and UI wireframes.
While there is no coding in this role, BA will be deeply involved in supporting the development process by analyzing how new features integrate with existing Java-based components and ensuring that security and compliance requirements are addressed.
The BA will use Digital.ai’s Agility tool to manage work items, support sprint planning and retrospectives, and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating with stakeholders and validating that the delivered functionality meets business needs.
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or other job-related degree or additional years of job-related work experience
6 years of IT Business Analysis experience.
Agile Scrum experience
User Stories w/ Acceptance Criteria
Secure Web Based Application Experience
Basic Understanding of Java-based Systems to effectively communicate with developers and understand technical constraints.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
Digital.ai Agility for backlog management
Experience with Secure Application Environments for understanding of authentication, authorization, and data privacy considerations.
PREFERRED LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
